The roof is fully insulated with aluminum polystyrene sheet (equal to 200mm glass fiber), there is a 40mm gap to the tiles for air circulation and the ridge tiles are ventilated

We start the internals, first the ceiling which is a PVC paneling with 80mm gap to the insulation gaynor and carolina ceiling.JPG (189296 bytes) ceiling finished.JPG (219457 bytes) finished may 21st,

And work starts again, with the pool surround now pool suround.JPG (297144 bytes) and the helpers enjoy a well earned swim

Well after a busy summer and a flight from the horse we are now into build mode again Carl and Gaynor setting the butterfly blocks.JPG (700795 bytes) ( No free lunch for the brother in law! )  brian, pat and will l;aying screed.JPG (737357 bytes)  and you need friends, the floor butterfly is finished buterfly finished.JPG (681602 bytes) next we complete the kitchen kitchen door in and wall finished.JPG (626748 bytes) outside is complete outside complete mod.jpg (364209 bytes) and we are on with the inside first inside wall panel.JPG (140287 bytes)

The Pool house will provide both a sun shade terrace, summer kitchen, shower, gym, sauna, hammam, play area for ping pong etc and a place to use the Jacuzzi in the winter months! on the ground floor and a mezzanine floor to relax and look straight down the valley to the Pyrenees with excellent viewing for wildlife. 

The works also give a bigger patio area for the pool with part in the shade.

The program 'is' main slab end sept. COMPLETED WITH FRIENDS. Frame of building oct ( delayed due to extra guests) , walls nov, roof dec COMPLETED end APRIL, internals spring 2005. well that was the plan! B!!!!! horse

Sorry about any I have missed!!!! NONE WERE BAD!!!!!!!!!!!( and this is only to show how pleased people have been, not a competition! or anything else)

Tony & Alyson Tonge with 3 year old Caitlin stayed for two weeks and did not want to go, brought all sorts and dinner! This showed how good a family gite we have.

'You are very cheep ( Price wise!!) our friends do not believe it.' Michael visiting Lourdes with his wife Marion and friend Margaret for the Spiritual benefits.( Our aim is to provide the best value in the area) They left dog biscuits and souvenirs of there homeland, Scotland. We did not realise that this read like 'GIVE US A PRES!!!' sorry to any offence. Sent us some ideas to help handicapped folk, much appreciated.
