With open views to the south, woodlands to the west, a small river runs north 100m to the east, this location offers great privacy and the ability to walk for hours in the woodlands without going on a road, with deer and birds of prey in abundance highlighting the quality of the wild life her, If you like star gazing, the lack of man made light makes the sky an enormous pleasure to all, especially from the Jacuzzi!. Or you can leave the house to the north on to rural roads and bike or horse ride until you realise how good they are on the Tour de France!! Our dogs have loved every minute of the many varied walks from the house. South and East of the house is woodland and farmland for more than a kilometer.

The Pyrenees can be seen from the house and garden.

We chose this location as it is between both Pau and Toulouse Airports with quick access to the Pyrenees or for touring further, typically Spain 1hr, Biaritz is 2hrs 30mins, the med 3hrs 30, Barcelone 5hrs 30, Paris 8hrs etc.

What we found was a great village community with exceptionally generous neighbours and that is endorsed in the local town of Trie sur Baise adding enormously to our quality of life, truly a great change from the rush of England, more like the village life of rural England 40 years ago.
